About the Trust

Transparency, Integrity, and Community at our core.

Our Story

Founded in 2020, the Kiwi Community Sports Trust (KCST) was established with a singular vision: to remove financial barriers preventing New Zealand children from participating in organized sports.

We believe that sport teaches vital life skills—teamwork, discipline, and resilience. However, the rising costs of equipment, travel, and club fees have left many families behind. Kiwi Community Draws was launched as our primary fundraising vehicle to bridge this gap.

How the Lottery Model Works

Unlike commercial gambling operators, our primary purpose is not profit for shareholders. We operate under a Class 3 Gambling Licence granted by the Department of Internal Affairs.

  • 40% of proceeds are allocated to the Prize Pool.
  • 50% of proceeds go directly to Charitable Grants.
  • 10% covers administration, auditing, and platform costs.
